Founder, Thrive! Arundel

For over 20 years, I have worked in the Baltimore/Washington corridor and developed a strong professional network with the belief that every connection is an opportunity to learn, to grow and to connect with like-minded individuals.

what makes thrive! arundel different?

THRIVE! Arundel offers distinct advantages to it's members.  How?

  • Culture:  Thrive! Arundel is a community of professionals who truly believe that if we can help each other grow our businesses, the returns will be ten-fold.
  • Education:   Throughout the year and at every meeting, we provide an educational and professional development component to help our members grow their business and enhance their professionalism.
  • Quality vs. Quantity:  Our group leaders are not paid or incented to drive members, unlike many referral groups whose chairs/leaders are paid to drive members into the group.  Our  leaders are dedicated to finding quality members, not driving a quantity of members.
  • Not Just A Networking Group:  Our groups host events throughout the year designed to help members get to know each other on a more personal level through social events throughout the year.
  • Charity:  We support a variety of charitable organizations throughout the year in our local community.

Some of these connections have led to business opportunities, some have led to personal growth, and others have become fast friends.

After moving to Annapolis in 2015, I realized that there was a need for a different kind of networking' group.  A group that would:

  • truly be focused on business development efforts, not just handing out business cards,
  • having a 'giving' culture with a real commitment from it's members to help others grow their business,
  • have a real desire to give back to the local community,
  • have an educational component to help members grow personally and professionally.

So, I set out to build a network of local professionals who not only want to build their business, but who want to learn and be part of a Thriving community!
